Master Storyteller and Speaker

Bryce Yarborough
Public Speaker, Author, Screenwriter, Poet and former Journalist

Bryce Yarborough took the path less traveled. For years he lived on the road hitchhiking across every state in America and traveling to more than 35 countries on four continents.

During his excursions, Yarborough encountered numerous brushes with danger that nearly cost him his life. His harrowing moments include machete-wielding drug dealers in the Rif Mountains of Morocco, the psychic snare of a religious cult, a knife attack by an Hawaiian lapu, staring down the barrel of a forty-five, and nearly freezing to death in a subzero blizzard.

These true stories and more can be found in his book Close Calls: Narrow Escapes Living on the Road. Yarborough, a former reporter for the Denver Post and Glenwood Post in Colorado, credits his hitchhiking-odyssey survival through relying on his intuition.

NOTE: The book Close Calls received honorable mention in the 2006 Hollywood Book Festival, which honors books that deserve greater recognition from the film, television, game and multimedia communities.
